Ingredients

2 liters of water

100 grams of powdered sugar

2 vanilla sugar sachets

1 pinch of grated nutmeg

2 tablespoons of orange blossom water

2 cups of red Bissap flowers

Preparation

Step 1 : The Bissap flowers should be carefully rinsed to remove any traces of sand they may contain.

Step 2 : Then, they are boiled in water until achieving an intense, striking color.

Step 3 : After removing the flowers, add the sugars, nutmeg, and orange blossom water, mixing everything evenly.

Step 4 : The process continues by pouring the juice into a bottle and letting it rest in a cool place for at least 5 hours before serving.

Step 5 : The delicious Bissap juice is ready to enjoy well chilled.
