Ingredients

1 kilogram of Red currants

500 milliliters of Water

500 grams of Sugar

Preparation

Step 1 : In a kitchen, pour the water and currants into a saucepan and cook over medium heat for 10 minutes.

Step 2 : Once the currants are cooked, they are firmly mashed with the back of a spoon.

Step 3 : Place a clean kitchen cloth in a bowl and pour the currants onto it, squeezing the cloth to extract the strained juice.

Step 4 : Then, return the juice to the pan, add sugar, and cook over low heat for 10 minutes.

Step 5 : Bring the contents to a boil and pour the resulting syrup into a previously sterilized bottle with boiling water.

Step 6 : Immediately close the jar and let it cool.
