Ingredients

900 grams of white beans

3 confit duck thighs

3 sausages

250 grams of smoked bacon

1 onion

3 garlic cloves

1 handful of parsley

1 handful of thyme

1 salt and pepper

Preparation

Step 1 : To prepare duck cassoulet, beans should be soaked from the previous day.

Step 2 : Then, rinse, drain, and cook them with thyme, onion, and garlic cloves for about 1 hour.

Step 3 : In a casserole, place the duck pieces, sliced sausages, and bacon chunks.

Step 4 : Add the soaked beans with a little of the cooking liquid and bring to a boil.

Step 5 : Next, transfer the casserole to the oven and finish cooking for approximately 1.5 hours.

Step 6 : To serve, sprinkle the duck cassoulet with chopped parsley.
